Brian Roy-Garland

Having been a competitive gymnast at an early age, Brian has always been consumed with the body’s ability to create shapes. He studied anatomy & physiology, functional movement, injury, and rehabilitation to earn a Masters’s Degree in Physical Therapy.Brian began practicing yoga in 2001, and it was love. He equips his students with the tools for a safe and efficient yoga practice. His teaching is layered with mindful alignment, injury prevention, non-traditional props, and encouragement. Classes are ever-changing based on his students' needs and his own personal continuous study of all the wonders of the human body. Brian refers to his Align & Flow format as PhysiYoga by incorporating concepts and exercise of Physical Therapy with traditional yoga asana.Brian also teaches Yoga Anatomy Workshops and in the Kindness Yoga Teacher Training Program and Threes PhysiYoga Method.
